Is it Love?

So it has been awhile since I have been online and blogging. My UK based bog fan has prompted me to post more! hahaha I can be so unmotivated!

Well I have had a pretty intense couple of weeks. I have been made a bridesmaid by my cousin who is finally getting hitched!!! So i have been a part-time wedding planner as well...and loving every minute of it!

Work has been okay..I have to drive tomoz ( which is a bit nerve wracking and I hope everything goes ok). Been trying to juggle everything with my friends..and this season coming up now is going to get full on...with lotsa get-togethers happening, chinese new year ( anyone going to the fobbo fests in springvale/sandown park?), valentines day next week as well and my birthday!!!

Anyways on a serious note..I have decided that in about 3 weeks time I will no longer be a teenager ( 20!) I want to take a more serious note to these blogs. During my blog surfings ( yes i am a self-confessed xanga/blogspot pervert) I noticed that the blogs I find the most interesting to read are those that talk about certian issues. And no this doesn't mean that I want to conform to "what everyone else is writing" I just think it would be more fun to write about certain issues that matter to moi.

Well you are probably thinking..wtf is with the title of this blog. No I am not having probs with Snail. In fact me and the slimy one ( totally non - sexual!!) are great. Firstly I found this awesome house song on online radio one day at work called "Is it love". The artist is "Lio". If you are into house music/euro dance kinda stuff download it!

The second reason for my blog title is due to a lil discussion we had last night when we were all kind of half drunk in the spa. One of the girls had this problem where her and her boyf had broken up because after 4 years he decided that he needed to "discover himself" and has gone to europe for a year. So in fairness to each other they decided to end it and see what woudl happen within a year's time. I think this was more the idea of the boy then the girl. Nevertheless it wasn't easy and after 2 months of him being away there was questions being raised by her as to "wtf is she suppose to do for 12 months? Wait for him or Go out and Get Jiggy with other people?"

A few comments/advice given around the hot tub included:

Girl 1#: Go be with other people and afterwards see if you really love him

Girl 2 #: Just go fuck other people...fuck him he ditched you 2 go and discover himself. You go and enjoy being a whore/single girl! ( yes I have charming friends who love being polite :P )

Boy 1 # : Just go and find some male company. Doesn't necessarily have to be sexual. But I guess if you really love him then you will know it because being with other people won't feel as good as when you are with him.

Boy 2 # : Why don't you wait for him? See other people and let him know that you are but wait for him to come back to you.

As you can see we had a variety of opinions.. none of them I agreed with.

See the way I see it is...If you really love someone, you just know it . WHy would you need to even be with other people to know that? If it takes being with other people to know that then from the onset you probably didn't turly love that person.

I don't know ..maybe I am too much a romantic. I just think that once you love someone you wouldn't even think about being with anyone else.

On the other hand, the boyfirend wanting to "discover" himself and then expecting her to wait for 12 months until he comes back is simply selfish. If you have been with someone for 4 and a half years why would you need to "discover yourself" especially without your partner. At least he could have said..lets do this together rather than abandon her.

At the end of the day...Is it Love to wait for him or to move on without him?

*** Note: Yes I realise I never finsihed my resolutions post. Bugger that!. Oh and Can anyone tell me where I can host my pics in order to import them over to blogger because I know how much everyone likes looking at pics. would love suggestions. ***

hey grace, good to see your post!

But you still havent emailed me on what you've been up to, you... I can't even find a horrible insult... HA! You mangly tick-infested squirrel!

(There are SO MANY squirrels here!! I was SO surprised!!)

WHAT THE. What do you mean you want to write about certain issues that matter to you?? DON'T YOU DO THAT ALREADY!?!?

That's terrible that you don't write what you really want to write about!

(There's your scolding from me today :P)

As for hosting pics, I've told you OVER and OVER again. Photobucket, imageshack, flicker, etc.

I like imageshack because I never have to look over my photos again. (ie. no user or password req)

As for that girl, I totally agree with you. She has to work out her own feelings and her feelings with that guy to work out where she's at.

As for your comment about ur bday, i totally relate to that feeling of, I have certain expectations now of myself turning this age.

you better email me or excommunicum for you about uk!! :P
